Shipping and Return Policy
Getting your order to you as quickly as possible is our top priority.
We ship the same day if your order is received early enough to do so via the United States Postal Service (USPS). International shipments are shipped via US Postal Service Priority Mail International.
We are offering free shipping on all U.S. orders within the 48 contiguous United States (i.e. Hawaii or Alaska are not included). No minimums. Limited time offer. Packages are shipped Priority mail via USPS and arrive in 2-3 days. An option for faster paid shipping is available at checkout.
Shipping charges are calculated on the total weight of the package. The products that are ordered are automatically weight set and this information is sent to the carrier. They respond back with actual shipping rates which appear as the actual shipping charge. Note that at times internet communication is slower during peak hours of use and delays may occasionally occur. We do not markup shipping nor charge handling fees.
Please note that shipping specials can be discontinued without notice.
When you place an order, you will receive an email confirmation. Once your package ships, you will receive another email containing your tracking number. Click on the link provided to go to the carrier’s site for a status report. If you have an account with Safe Baby, your tracking number will be under your orders. If you receive more than one tracking number this indicates you will be receiving two packages.
The USPS does not require a signature to confirm that delivery has been made. Once an item is scanned as “delivered” Safe Baby does not assume responsibility for stolen or lost packages. If you would like to purchase additional insurance on your package, please indicate this in the comments field when placing your order. You will be charged in accordance with USPS rates.
Returns and Exchanges
Returns may be made within 30 days from date of purchase* for a full refund as long as the item is:
- in its original condition, i.e. new, unused and unwashed (if clothing);
- in the original undamaged box; and
- with all original packaging including tags and instructions (if any) intact.
*Please note that ChildLife Supplements can not be returned.
We reserve the right to determine the condition of the item being returned. If the condition of a returned product is such that we are unable to resell it, you will have the option to have it sent back to you (you will be charged shipping) or we will refund you 30% of the original price to cover our costs.)
Returns will be processed within 10 days business days. Refunds will be issued for the cost of merchandise only and not for the cost of shipping. Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping, unless the reason for the return is a result of our error (e.g. you received a defective or incorrect item).
Exchanges and Gifts
Please select products carefully as we are not able to provide exchanges. If you received a gift from our Shop and wish to return it, please contact us and we can issue store credit in the form of an electronic gift card.
As the recipient of the product, you are the importer of record and responsible for assuring the product(s) purchased can be lawfully imported into the destination country and you must comply with all applicable regulations. You are also responsible for payment of all levied sales taxes, duties and customs charges, which are determined and enforced by local governments and vary by country. Note that duties, taxes and/or customs fees are an additional amount collected upon delivery of your order. We are unable to provide you with an estimate of those fees. Your local government can be contacted for specific details. The order confirmation you receive from Safe Baby details only the amount collected. By completing your order you agree to pay all applicable fees. If you refuse or return your order, no international shipping charges or fees paid to local governments will be refunded. We will refund the original purchase price of the product if the returned/refused goods arrive back to our return address in the original condition.
We use USPS to ship internationally. Our shipping rates are based on weight. If the estimated shipping charge will cover the cost of the shipment, we will send it out. If not, we may contact you for authorization prior to shipping. Delivery time varies, but is estimated at 7-14 business days for Priority, depending on your country’s customs regulations and procedures. If you do not receive your package within several weeks, check with your local post office and local customs office as they may be holding your package for payment of duties.
Return shipping labels are not available outside the US.
Contact Us First
To request a return, please contact us first at email@example.com and write “Return” in the subject line. We will send you a shipping label and return authorization form that will need to go inside the box you are sending back.
Since our return address is a P.O. Box, we cannot accept return packages via UPS or FedEx as they will be automatically returned to the sender. If you must ship UPS or FedEx, please let us know and we will provide an alternate shipping address.
We request that you obtain insurance and a tracking number for all returned items so that the item can be tracked if there is a problem as we are not responsible for packages that are lost in transit.
